    I use I'm 2 dvd ripper to rip them and to make the dvd i usethe same program as this but to make them. I have tryed other programs but this one is easy and also with just 12 gb hdd i can't put to much on here at one time using xp but when i had the 98se i could make two dvd's and if i ripped them i could get about 7 on here but with xp only one dvd and 3 rips and i do a lot of this stuff since i don't have cable tv so i get dvd's from others and watch.

    Know you have set the BIOS to default setting but have you tried clearing the bios , a jumper on motherboard or removing the battery. Sometimes that will fix weird problems, even when it should not. It does sound like you have done every thing else.

    Yes I have done that over 50 times alrealy and on every format i do i jump my motherboard to make sure all the settings are set back to standard. I have down everything else i was told and i got a reply back from Seagate and they told me to run Fdisk /mrb i have it in the email and they said that should take care of it but i was told this before also and it didn't so this is very strange to me. Next week i'm going to put my old motherboard back in and see what it does and i really hate to cause of all the replacing of wires and cables and such and making sure i put all those wires back in the right place cause it's the same MB, they go different sopts than this one for some reason but after all the MB'S i have put in computers for people and putting all the software and everything else i hope i won't have trouble.
