Right,

I play quite a few different games, but lately when i try to start ANY game , it does not work. If there is a start up menu (on some games, a window that come up and u click, On , Play, Uninstall, Exit etc.) this will come up but when i click on play nothing happenes, if there is no startup menu then nothign happenes AT ALL, if i press ctrl, alt + Delete then it will display that the game is running right at the bottom of the task list. Ive noticed that before when the games worked , they were displayed at the very top.

Is there any way i can fix this?

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the games and see if that resolves your problem.

Are these all "DOS" games - the 3D kind that don't run in a normal Windows window like Windows Explorer or Outlook Express?

What happens if you try to run a standard Windows game like Solitaire?

Are the games that you are having trouble with all being run from a CD? If so, do you have any similar games installed on the hard disk that you could try?

Have you made any changes to the graphics, such as a new driver or updated DirectX version, before the problem started?
