After continual problems of (Orange) Internet connections dropping out, I identified the problem to be the phone extension lead. I have plugged my pc into the main house phone socket and system is now working fine. I need to re-locate the pc back into my lounge so I guess I need some form of wireless connection. I have no knowledge of wireless broadband and wish to know what exactly I need to convert to wireless. Can the necessary equipment be bought on Ebay?

you need to buy a wileless acess point (router) which can connect to you phone socket and a wireless network card. Most have simple setup instructions and cdrom install program such as belkin. Get 54g to get reliable connection
