Exclamation Floppy disk, win. 95\xp problems

i just fixed an old toshiba satellite pro laptop with 95, and the floppy disk i'm using can be formmated on my xp computer, or the 95, but when i try to use it in the other machine, it wants to reformat it, could there be a conflict with formats or what?

ok, so i just fixed the floppy drive on the 95 machine, so the head is probably in a different position than the xp's drive, any advice on how to align the heads or just get them to match?

No. (I gather the Toshiba is (much) older than the XP machine.) As stated, the drive is "loose" or worn. To get it to "match" the newer XP machine the only option is to replace it with a new drive.
