help me please
I just receive a logitech webcam the one you can use with audio. I downloaded the software to my pc so i can havean audio conversation with my brother. He has the same one as well. My question is everytime we use the camera it freezes up and also after 30 minutes of using the system it sometimes goes off by itself. I'm working with a pentium 2 processor and my brother has dell pentium 4. Is it possible that since we both have the same webcam-how comes we can't use it at the same time without any complications.
you see the reason why we bought it is because we wanted to be able to speak to each as if we were on the phone or in the same room.
someone please help me.

If your computer is working off of a Pentium II I am going to guess that it is not adequate for handling this hardware.
You can post back this scan if you wish:

I am doubting that a Pentium II system would have the necessary RAM nor CPU power to run a such a CAM

I don't mean to "butt-in" on a post which jephree is working, but I used to run a Logitech QuickCam on a Pent. II, however it had only video, no mic.
What model webcams do you have? Are they listed here?;

And;
"My question is everytime we use the camera it freezes up and also after 30 minutes of using the system it sometimes goes off by itself."
Can you clarify - the system (yours, his, both?) "goes off" 1) while using the camera only, or, 2) with or without the camera?
And;
What "communications" program are you both using with the camera? Both running the same?
