I had a problem with my PC so I reformated the hard drive and reloaded windows 98. When I restarted I got the message that no mouse was detected. I then tried to load the drivers from the suppliers CD but I got a message that the file list was not on the PC.I have just paid £30 or $51 to someone to put this right but the problem is still there. Any ideas?

Have you tried more than one mouse? is it a usb mouse?
