umm lets see there was one more thing. in PAINT i cant save anything as JPEG that option is not there

dam i didnt realize how crapy ur comp is with out some programs. lol
Fade, yes, it's rotten when your PC is going down the river. WinME is a noted OS for drama. It is a never ending struggle. Hopefully one day you can make an upgrade to XP because it really is worth it.

As for "Paint", it is one of M$oft's files, and probably affected by corrupt system files.

I do a lot of graphic manipulation and suggest you get this free download. You won't be sorry, and Paint will be something you will never want to open again. This small app also accepts almost all of the plugins that Adobe Photoshop does. If you save Pics as .JPG a lot, then the method by which this app saves them will keep your images looking almost as if they were non compressed, which a .JPG is.

I hope you enjoy this program, and please let us know how you go with the sys repair.

hi, well i did put in the cd for my windows ME repair, and its a FULL version of windows me cd. now idk how to do the repair. lol! i looked it up online and mircosoft and everything, now there were some steps that i couldnt follow since those folders where on my computer (like it said go to system tools then go to system file checker! i dont have systems filer checker in that folder) so im clueless lol!

now idk if its OVER heating, beacause if i restart the computer even tho its been on for a while itll still shutdown alright. and plus now when i click shutdown instead of getting a BLUE screen, after a while it automaticly improperly restats my computer! thats a bigger problem since theres no error message. PLEASE HELP!

EDIT: i was thinking, if it was over heating then why is it that when i resstart it right away itll shutdown? and last time my comp over heated i couldnt turn it on, ussaly got a black screen? i really need like a quick fix, all those steps are way to long, and plus like i said right when the computer is on, it doesnt have any problem shutting down, so it cant be a driver or a program that i loaded so idk!

Fade, to be honest, if my PC were having that many errors on WinME, I'd get in there, back up my files, and FDISK/Reinstall. :eyespop:

As you own a full WinME, it should clean install without a problem. If you get the same errors after that, you can be fairly sure you have hardware probs.

Have you added any RAM lately? The wrong type perhaps? Just think about what you did or what you had just done when all of this started happening.

Fade, you can burn a CD through WMP. If you mean copy as in make an absolute copy, I'm not sure about the program recommended. For free, you could just do that yourself, and I know that would take a little more time, but you could back your CD's at least.
