sorry if this is spamming. i didnt know what thread to put this into. i wanted to kno what windows ME comes with to write files. like microsoft WORD or microsoft WORK?


i REALLY need HELP here. i just installed a clean version of windows XP. i burned all my documents i had on windows ME to a cd. ( these were MS word and works files) now i tried to open them with XP but no luck.
things already tried: i installed windows 95 office NO LUCK
installed windows 2000 office NO LUCK
installed windows word viewer, NO LUCK
installed open office, NO LUCK
these are improtant files and i really need help, since it was a clean installation i cant go back to windows ME!

Depending on who made your computer, probably Office. (Word).
