If the CD is external I am going to assume it is connected via USB.

If I assume correctly then you need to boot the USB first.

If the problem persists you can make the 6 floppy setup:

    Hey, jephree
OK I got a original Win XP Disk. I just didn't think about it being a DVD Disk until I open it, Any ideal!!
I only have a CD-ROM and the files is to big to fit on a CD.
    thanks for hanging with me.

If it is a DVD you need a DVD drive.

I've never heard of XP on a DVD

Where did you get this? (Just curious). I guess it is XP SP2 but still that would fit a CD.

You can use nLite to take off what is unnecessary and burn as an ISO CD.

    Jephree,
IT looks like the disk came from Dell. I will try to use nlite. I don't know if i know what I'm doing

That nLite site has many guides. Or ask here.

Open that DVD on a computer with a DVD drive and see what is on it.

If it is Dell it is probably loaded with Dell bloatware which nLite can remove.

But you will need a computer with a DVD drive to carry this out.
