I installed WMP 9 and now I can't reboot. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that Roxio is part of the software but I did have a similar problem when I removed Adaptec CD Creator from my system a while back.

When I reboot all I get is a blue screen. I can start in safe mode and have tried restoring back to the poitn before I installed the software but it doesn't remove the problem.

Try uninstalling Windows Media Player from Add/Remove programs in the control pamel while in safe mode.

That doesn't work, when I go into the add/remove programs WMP doesn't show up to remove.

I have got a couple of solutions from other sites but haven't tried them yet!

WMP 9 Cant remove from add/remove in control panel. its only able to be removed from system restore. it even says so on the wmp website. the only suggestion is try to do a restore if that fails than try a reformat
