I think I know what you mean, and there is a trick to get it (IE6) to install with no internet service. I just have to remember what that trick is.....

I no longer have a 98SE machine set up, but it's slowly coming back to me. I think to get around this, there are a couple of choices when initializing the install? Pick the second or third. (If need be, I have a Gateway 310S machine in the closet, and my 98SE CD. I can set it up and load 98SE then go through the motions for IE6 if you still can't get it.)
