Hey guys! OK- Here's my trouble...suddenly, I cant go anywhere online with inet explorer- I have to access the internet through windows media player.(seriously!)
Next, I cant open anything from the start menu without an "open with..." box popping up and saying select program you want to use to open "rundll32.exe". So, obviously I cant get into system restore, system info etc.
I have AVG8 installed and ran a full scan- no viruses.
Also, system wont defrag, saying there is a problem and run scandisk, but scandisk shows no problem (i have automatically fix errors checkmarked)
ANY CLUES?? Everything was fine up until a few days ago. Any help is , as always, appreciated greatly! Thanks

As far, as I know, AVG 8.0 doesn't support Windows ME.

oops! i thought it was avg 8....either way, the troubles still exist and the antivirus program is always kept up to date and full scans performed after each update...any ideas? Thanks
