you had a previous post in which you gave a link to a ebd for win98. in going to this link, i am unable to reach the bootdisk image file to create a floppy. when clicking the link i get a error 404 page not found. am i mistaken or was the bootdisk link removed? If it was removed is there any chance you may have the ebd file so that I can copy the image file to floppy for my use? the forum was listed as: 21-04-2006, 01:45 AM and my problem is the same as the user that asked the question. in other words, my pc did the exact same thing. It asked upon boot for a password then proceeded to ask for a product key in which I had to find the master key online, and since windows 98 is no longer supported by microsoft this wasn't a problem. But the error message stating
that "Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module Explorer.exe at 0167.

From that point there, the boot process becomes totally dormant....
I've tried the boot in safe mode but no luck there. This pc that I speak of is from my brother who is in the air force and it was given to him by his C.O. I don't have any of the system disks for it; no cd's, no floppys, nothing so I am trying to go from scratch here. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Ben
