    New problem?

    Frequent problem?

    Some history please.

The drivers for Office Update triggered that crash.

While installing Office2003 the bsod occurs, I even tried Office97
before I thought it had something to do with my video-card or lan-card but after changing them the bsod occurs again.
With the old cards another bsod appeared but I can't remeber wich one.
So I first want to fix this and then I'll see what to do next

How do you see that it's something with the Office driver?
I want to learn it myself too

    Thanx so far

    Thanx for the info.
What can I do about the bsod.

I see myself it's because of the Office but I don't know what to do next

Did you have Office installed previously on this computer?

If so i would manually check for any residual files and remove them.

See if OSE.EXE is already on your computer.

Make sure nothing else is running when you try to install.

You might try installing in Safe Mode.

OK I'll try that when I am back at the office and I keep you informed.
