Everytime i try to start my computer it gets stuck sayin prepareing network connections..... I tried the disks and i cannot start up in safe mode

Is this a new problem?

If so any new hardware or software?

What happens when you try Safe Mode?

What did you try with "disks"?

No worries a friend just helped me fix it..... the firewall i tried was not a good one any suggestions on good firewalls???

What do you mean by "it doesn't work"? I have it on my Win 2K, and it works well.

1. Which firewall were you using previously, when getting that "preparing network connection" error?
2. Are you getting same error with Comodo, or something else happens?
3. With Comodo, can you get to Windows, but just Internet connection doesn't work?
4. If so, when you disable Comodo from startup, and restart your computer can you connect?
5. Do you have all Windows Service Packs installed?
