my PC works on win98se, 512Mb memory. my default browser is IE6 and usually works fine. I could open all pdf files on- and offline.
from today I cannot read pdf files on the IE6 browser. I can open them directly on Total Commander, from the Adobe reader and on Firefox, but they do not respond on IE6. only a small colored square appears on the upper left of the screen.
I tried repair the IE from control panel but it didn't help. Also reloading IE6 dudn't too. It is probably due to some configuration change but i don't know where to find it and how to correct this.

What version of Acrobat Reader do you have installed?

Have you tried re-installing Acrobat Reader?

What did you do to "reload IE6"?

my adobe reader is 6.0 (or 6.01) and I downloaded it again from the adobe site.
I uninstalled IE6 through the control panel and installed it again from my HD
Nothing helps
I believe that there is some glitch in IE configuration, but ???
all this is a minor problem as the pdf files are readable on other browsers
