My friends pII dials up to internet (which i've tested the number for) then fails to produce a homepage and will not open a browser. Tried pinging cisco to test internet tcp/ip but wont connect. Connection speed was about 22000bps (really slow) cant work it out. I've tried internet tool options, checked security levels and its definitely connected to internet. Got a call last night from said friend who then told me that at about 1130 it started working again. Apparently its doing this every night. Any ideas?

Have they gone into control panel/add remove and tried repair ie?
