after i reformated and put the new OS on my computer says that it has less space then i really does.

What should I do?

How much space does it say it has in total on the C:\ drive and how much did it reckon was free after you installed the OS?

Am I correct in thinking the new OS was Windows ME?

It sounds like either a mistake in the formatting process or a BIOS error in detecting the hard drive correctly.
