My daughter's computer runs on Windows ME. I have purchased an Intrenet Security disk for this operating system. We removed all previous security programmes via the Add/Remove facility via the Control panel, however when we try to load the new programme an error message comes up stating the programme cannot be loaded until other antivirus programmes are removed. I have checked and doubled cheked but nothing of this nature appears in the Add/Remove list. Any help would be really appreciated.

Is there possibly a listing in the Program Files directory or under START, PROGRAMS? If so there may be an uninstall file there.
