When minimising certain windows (eg, word doc) these do not appear as buttons on the toolbar along the bottom of the screen - they just disappear. The only program this doesn't appear to happen with is Internet Explorer. Any ideas as to what has happened? It's only fairly recently that this has occurred and I can't find any "help" items.

Thanks for your advice "Jephree". I ran a Trend computer scan which did find a few "infections". One of these was Hotbar. When this was deleted and the other infections dealt with, I got me buttons back - Hooray !!
