i really nid ur help as i do not know what to do now!!
i have this problem when dl the game "catastrophic failure" and i been to other thread and there says dl at there "http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_97.02.html" but it is only for window xp and 2000 and mine is window ME.

If you are saying you need a Graphics Driver then this is the latest version for ME:

If you have an older card you might have to go to an archived driver.

i have dl the link you gave but there is still an error when i dl the game(maplestory), what happen??
and when i dl another game(audition), there's a box says "Crc mismatch"
what should i do to cure these errors? =(

It could be that your graphics card is inadequate for these games. Are you sure that these games will run on ME?

Did you ever play them on this computer?

Also: go to start Run... dxdiag

Go to the Display tab and tell us what is listed under Device.


CRC errors during a download could indicate a bad download and or conflicts with a previous download. Or a faulty CD/DVD if installing from disk.

If you could post the full verbatim error messages in both cases it would help us help.

Did you uninstall your previous drivers before installing the new?

Driver Installation Hints


"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.


Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.


Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

no. yup i'm sure that this games can be played on window ME.

what is "verbatim error message"?

no, i do not know where is the previous driver located.

Your graphics are showing as an on-board chip from SiS. That is the driver. What is listed under Device?

I know that this cannot run Maple Story. If you have a Nvidia card it is not being detected.

Verbatim means "word for word". In other words the exact and complete error message as you see it please post it here.

If you have a Nvidia card then the old package would be in Add/Remove Programs via start > Control Panel

I know that this is nowhere near capable of running Maple Story. I do not know the Audition game.

In your first post you mentioned Nvidia drivers but if you do not have a Nvidia card then you would not have these drivers. If they are there from your previous download via my link they would be under Nvidia.

If you want to see if you can upgrade your computer please post the exact make and model.
