I installed a new hard drive in my computer and am trying to install the windows program that came with the computer and I can't get it to accept the windows disk that I have it says the disk cannot be found can anyone help me

Are you trying to start the PC from a floppy disk or a CDROM? Is that what the message says that it is looking for or does it say "Hard disk not found" or "Missing operating system" ?
