Im just new for this site, and in fact using Windows XP Pro, but I've just been re-installing Windows 98/se for my friend as my first time. I've got a problem that the pc can't find a PCI Ethernet Controller and a PCI Serial Contrtoller. Then, I found one website that provides all the drivers for that pc (Compaq Armada E500); however, I don't know how to install the driver for those two PCI Controller. Could you please guide me a list of step of how to install them?

Have you tried the HP site?

If the driver packages you have are with an .exe extension, they are most likely self-installing.

If you provide a bit more information as to the files you have, a more detailed instruction can be provided.
