i accidently deleted something from my computer now when i try to use my cam it says cannot detect cam.i tried everything i can think off.cam has no company name or model number and don't have original disk to reinstall. if anyone can help me i would greatly appriciate it.

Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and running, click on REPORT in the Menu bar, then Report Wizard. Save a report for the Hardware-related pages, in Plain text.

Attach that report to your next post. (Click "Go Advanced" below the posting box.) Below the larger posting box in the new window, click on Manage Attachments under Additional Options.
