HDD is formatted to Fat32 (naturally).
I've found that more often than not... the files seem to transfer across to the HDD ok... (can view all file details from the XP box)...
However, when I put the HDD back into the Tablet PC... only the folder which I put the files into is there... it's empty..
Any sub-folders within that folder are also gone...
The properties of the folder show there is 0kb of file space within the folder itself... ie. empty folder.
If I move the HDD back to the desktop... there are all the files sitting happily in the folder again... really odd.
This has me stumped... if the folder had not appeared, I would assume that none of the files are visible..
(Folder options are set to NOT hide any files etc)...
Please help me as I have no option than to use this method of transfer..
