I have win 98/se installed on a computer with athlon700 and the printer epson stylus color 760 prints ok.

I also have win 98/se installed on a computer with pentium1 and the printer epson stylus color 760 is connected to a working usb socket but it wont print, it shows message "no communication"

Open Device Manager and highlight/remove the USB components. Exit, and restart the machine. The Hardware Detection & Installation utility should start and reload/reallocate drivers and resources for the USB ports.

Also reinstall your printer software. Get the latest from Epson;
