I have recently installed winME on my other pc, but now when i turn it on all i see is the desktop background and the hourglass cursor, unable to move.also it appears the color is set to 16 and resolution is 640x480. can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Try booting into Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping the F8 key after your BIOS POST but before Windows starts.

Then try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If you can access Safe Mode you might also try reloading your Graphics drivers.

If you cannot access Safe Mode you probably need to reinstall again.
