    Unhappy I only have 2 or 16 colours!!AAaaaaaagh!

I have a created a problem after re-installing win 98 to an old 'packard bell club 78' pc without saving driver files beforehand (doh!).The PC now only displays 2 or 16 colours.I know that I need to install the correct driver and I have successfully managed to find out which graphics adaptor is installed, and it is an 'SIS 530,620 GUI Accelerator+3D'.I have located many different SIS drivers, but I cannot find one specifically for my hardware! Incidently,my multimedia audio device isn't working either. It is an ESS Tecnology ESS19 38/41/46 SOLO -1(E). If anyone can help me locate the correct drivers, I will be overjoyed!!Thanks.

Havent managed to find a driver for the colour yet.
This is all I could find on that number for audio. Halfway down the page there a clickable link just before the tabled lists.

Thanks for the link, but I have found a driver for my sound device. It is the graphics that are giving me the biggest headache. I just don't know what to do. Because the pc is so old, I don't think the manufacturer will be able to assist me either...............!

Heres 2. The first one you will have to log in but I recommend it to try first. Its a .rar file so you may have to download winrar if it wont open.

a MASSIVE THANKYOU for your help Tassie!!! I followed your first link to 'driverguide.com', and downloaded it, installed the driver,re-started and to my absolute amazement all colours were back!! Yes- I had a momentary loss of control and began screaming with joy and jumping around the room like a loon!! This was supposed to be just a quick re-partition/re-format and installation of windows for my mum, but as you know, all didn't quite go to plan.Oh well, I have definately learned from my mistakes. Once again a great big CHEERS for your help, and I hope that you will stick around cos I'm sure that I will need some further tech help one day.V.V.V.V.Happy customer.
