I'll be online doin my thing, then out of nowhere the contrast/tint/screen size menu pops up and letters start blinking on it, then then the screen will turn all white. If i restart the screen color will change to blue/green/red and others. so i have to shut down the power, then turn it back to get at least an hour of time before it repeats again. Any ideas of what the hell is goin on?

It sounds as though your graphics adapter is either; overheating (if equiped with a heat removal device (fan/heatsink) or just plain caked with dust (heatsink)), getting ready to quit, or not getting the proper power, or is acting up going into some sort of self testing mode, or your monitor cable is loose, or a combination of all of the above.

Check all connections and card seatings. If you have any cables (power etc) going to the graphics adapter ensure they're well seated.
