    Hello, and Welcome to DAL.

    Do you have only one hard disk in the machine?

    Is Win98SE running, or are you stuck working in DOS only?

    "my computer had 15gb"

    I take it that your one hard disk is 15GB, and the system bios was/is capable of "seeing/recognizing" the entire 15GB.

    Open a DOS window (MSDOS Prompt) and type in;

    fdisk/status>c:\diskinfo.txt

    and hit Enter. This will run the fdisk command giving the status of your hard disk (it won't change or affect anything), and send the output/results directly to a text file on C:\ named diskinfo.txt. On your next post, choose "Go Advanced" and attach the text file to your next post. (Just look below the posting box for "Manage Attachments", and follow the prompts to attach the file.)

    I'll mention now that you will probably have to start fresh by restructuring your hard disk. If you have a "third party" disk management program (that works either in DOS or with 98) you can probably achieve the end result without starting over. If you don't have such a program, you're looking at restructuring the hard disk with the available MS tools found on floppy bootdisks or the 98 CD (loosing all data on the hard disk) and reinstalling Windows once the hard disk is set up correctly.
