I have an older computer from my college days which I would like to get on to, but it seems that all the passwords that I remembered don't work, is there anyway I can get around the password or change it without deleting that user and all files along with it?

Oh. . Sorry about that. No this is my other PC which I was using at the sametime as the mac while attending NEIT. Forgot the specs right now but it was running 98SE on an AMD proccesor and I forget what type motherboard, took apart too many computers since then. But i'm sorry for the confusion I should have written that this isn't the same posting as for the mac at the header, my mistake please forgive. Thank you for informing me of my error I wasn't even thinking about that when i posted it. Thank You.
BTW do you know which program is best for this system should I be looking for a pwl crack or an arj?

O.K. Thank You anyway just thought I'd try. Sorry for anyone reading this post hoping to find out how to get into there computer but what Dan said makes sense to me. Although I did some research of my own and found some things that i can do and will try, I will not post it on here per DAL request. But thanx to all you guys that helped, this is a great site!
