a friend of mine running windows me with automatic windows updates running. Windows update informs her it has a security update for IE ready to install. She clicks to install it and it just sits there showing no progress.

I tried installing the same update through the microsoft update page with the same results. The update is (KB912812). any idea how to get it to work. TIA
