i usually have problems while browsing through sites with the message a runtime error has occured.i do not know the problem and wish that someone can help explain how i can get rid of the problem on my sony laptop

In IE..tools..internet options..Advanced..scroll down..untick..
Display notification about every script error.
Tick..Disable script debugging..apply..ok.

You can also disable Script Debugging entirely. (For IE & Other. Same place as outlined by S Templer above).
