    Error Logs

    I am checking my Event Viewer (Application) and found some "x Error " msgs there. What kind of files are these?? are they corruped ?? should i remove them or repair them ?? HOW??

    These are not files. They are errors reported by whatever application error-ed. They are simply reports.

    If you think that they coincide with your shut down problem then please post the Event ID as well as the Source as well as the Description of the errors.

    Hi Jephree

    I want to know one thing:

    I m having a client-server architecture. Whenever I open a site on client side then a log file is made on server. So plz tell me what kind of information is written in that log file on the server.
    If I m chatting to someone then the communication between people will also be seen here or it will just display the site name that was opened to chat??
    Also the sending mails contents will also be apperaed on the log file??

    I think u did not get my point.

    Leave the client-architecture point.

    Just imagine I m in a network of 10-12 computers and all these comps r connected to a main server. Now plz tell me.

    The administrator of the server can pretty much choose what to log or not to log.
