i am getting screen of death (blue screen) displaying the message :- 'Physical Memory Dump'
at certain address. How can i get rid off this msg??

The msg generates after 5-10 mins only when I turn on my Internet(Broadband). I am using ASDL Modem attached with USB port. Is there any harm using USB port with modem or should i have to use COM1 or COM2 port only??

Anyway did you reinstall Windows 2000?

If not and you still want to trace these errors then:


Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your .dmp files.

Then:

1) Download and install the
Debugging Tools from Microsoft
2) Download and install this
debugwiz
3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your .dmp file.
4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.
