Having a problem with the set up of my Win98se Explorer. Everytime I click on any movie type download, I am referred (sent to) a new window which is the :
"Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer "
(1)
I do not know how to set (which boxes to change) the Internet Options to allow me access.
(2)
I have disabled any Pop-up blockers.
(3)
I have "McAfee Security", but has not flagged me if there is a blocking.
I appreciate any advice you can offer.
This is always happenining when accessing web pages that contain Video's that I am trying to download. I am afraid that through the course of changes & fixes I have made over the years I have re-set something that is causing this problem. I have now set
the ADVANCED area of INTERNET OPTIONS to its default setting.

Try in IE.click on tools.internet options.clean all.temp.cookies.history files.
Under connections.settings.untick Automatically detect settings.
Under Security.set to medium.Under Privacy.set to medium.
Under Privacy.Tick box Overide Auto Cookie Handling.
Under 1st Party set to allow.Under 3rd Party set to Prompt.
If that dosen't help.Repair IE
Start.programs.accessories.system tools.system information.tools.IE repair.
