Hi can anyone help! I bought IBM 380ED think pad, as windows98 in german! I find out it only has 32mb,& that later system require 64mb +any idea's would be very gratefull,other wise seems costly or u/s.cheers for help Ron.

You would need to purchase an English version and do a fresh install.
Hi. as my first enquiry,have been quoted around £170+vat & already spent on window xp no use for this laptop. have aquired windows 98 start up disc & windows 98 second edition,tried to load it.get to 1st set up.says insert diskette for drive B press any key when ready, but just reverts back to 1st set up. Hi jephree,cheers for imfo,great help. problem now is,after its fully loaded,it says to remove start up,disc & second edition cd,then load second edition disc It says the file 'nscrda.sy's on windows 98 second edition cd rom cannot be found.set up could not find a file on the specified path. if the path appears, below. make sure it is correct. click ok.to try copying agian.
Above insert box says copy files from: reads C;\windows\system\precopy
