I was low on disk space so I was deleting unwanted or unneeded stuff, or so I thought, and somehow deleted my windows word. Now 1st concern is that I had my resume in word format and now is in a .doc format and havent been able to figure out how to open that.
My recycle bin is empty and I cant go back to a restore point cause I guess if you run low on disk space it will not create restore points.
How can I get my word back and how can I open that .doc file, I really need my resume job searching at the very moment.

As to Word itself you probably need to reinstall it.

That download does not work on ME, tried it, looked for one that did couldnt find.
computor was bought used/2ndhand so I dont have the winme cd to reinstall it from.

Word is a part of Office which is an independent program. If you don't have the Office CD then there's not much you can do but buy one.

LOL, that last one got me frustrated enough where I cursed and threw my mouse at my moniter and had to walk away for a bit...let me try this latest one.
