Just recently installed service pack 4 for win2000 pro and I still have only the option for 16 colors. When I had win98 installed I had the option for 16, 256 colors, true color, or high resolution. How do I get back to 256 colors?

Most likely you need to install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

What is the Device listed under the Display tab ofdxdiag?

Start/Run/ dxdiag

Check the manufacturers site for the latest drivers.
