hello to anyone who's willing to help!
Im having a terrible problem with my computer at the moment and have tried just abt anything to solve it.The problem is i cannot access various features on the desktop.My documents,my computer,recycle bin(except IE and media player)cannot be accessed for some strange reason.This has never happened to me before and it's not just worrying me,but it's starting to annoy me too as about a week ago,things were fine.There are two messages that appear when i attempt to access those icons on the desktop:this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.if problem persists,contact the vendor.When i close this message another one appears stating an error has occurred in internet explorer and will now close.It then says to restart,but having attempted that,the problem still occurs!!!I have did an adaware check plus a Norton anti virus update,but nothing seems to be working.I also tried to do a "Hijack This"but it confused me to pieces!!!!
Please..someone help me...i'm getting blamed for this at home(though various family members use the comp as well) and it's getting me down as i can't do anything to repair what is happening.I would be so happy if i could be assisted in some way or another,
