Hey People,
I've just gone and bought windows 98 SE off of ebay, installed it on to my PC (which previously had a absolutley awful version of linux installed on it). It works fine except it only gives me a choice of 2 colours and 16 colours. All of the programs I use need at least 256 colours. I'm not sure of the exact model, but I am using a Dell CRT monitor, which was previously used as a screen for Windows XP. Since I no longer have Windows XP, or an internet connection, I'm wondering what I should do to get my 256 colours, does ANYBODY know of anywhere (shop), where I can buy a 256/true colour driver? Would contacting Dell be of any help to me?

it's not so much the monitor it's the driver for your graphics, we realy need the model of the motherboard/graphics card to point you in the right direction.
