pages on my daughters winme pc turn extremely slow. i formatted her harddrive and re-installed her copy of winme. i added more memory,put in spybot(no spyware listed),ran the anti-virus(pc clean),set her start-up to run with just the basics and no improvement. i've also run scandisk,defrag and disk cleanup. this is the same problem before and after re-installing winme. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of connection do you have, dialup, DSL, cable?

internet connection is cable. winme pc is set up thru linksys wireless usb run off main linksys router from main pc.
