Help
I tried to install a windows 98 and encounter some errors with reading the files in the CAB folder. I skip installing those files and proceed with the installation. After completing the installation and restarting the computer I received the erroe message described below:
Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application.
The Windows registry or System.ini file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists.
If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall program or setup program.
If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have tried that one and i did not work. In the end in turn out to be that the CD was damaged. I have now resolved by using a different CD.
Thank anyway and sorry for the delay in replying.
