My windows 98se is freezing up primarly when entering text in outlook express or at web sites. I've run spybot,and adware plus the disc cleanup utilities with no luck. This seems to have started when I loaded Norton with a piece of Mcfee still installed. I deinstalled Norton but the problem is still with me and has gotten worse. Is my next step to reinstall windows.

have you checked the specs with all the spyware. How did you delete Norton and McAffee
