Need help with findin POP3 info

for on AIM you can set it up to atomaticly check your mail and warn you when you have new mail for the e-mail adress(s). To do so you need the POP3 server name and I don't know how to find out what that would be. The 3 e-mail adresses that I need to set it up for or using Yahoo/SBC, AIM mail, and Netscape. If anyone coudl please tell me either how to figure out info I need for the POP3 or can tell me what it is that woudl be very nice. There is also another thing and it is the POP3 E-mail somthing I do not remeber right now what it is but can find out when I get back to using my other computer. Again if anyone coudl please help me out that woudl be wonderful

Have you already set up your main ISP account?

If so the incoming Server should be listed e.g.

    Outlook Express:
    Open Outlook Express
Under the Tools menu, select Accounts...
Double-click your account in the box on the left
    Click on the Servers tab
Find Incoming mail (POP3) and copy the value (for example: pop.mail.yahoo.com)
    ThunderBird:
    Open ThunderBird
Under the Tools menu, select Account Settings...
Find the account in the list on the left side
Click on Server Settings just below the account
Find Server Name and copy the value
    Netscape Mail:
    Open Netscape Mail
Under the Edit Menu, select Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings...
On the left, open the appropriate Account (it may already be open)
    Click on Server Settings
On the right, near the top, is the Server Name
Copy this (you may have to write it down) value

Your POP3 Server Name would be whatever your SBC Yahoo Server is e.g. mail.sbcglobal.net

You should find it listed in the above locations unless you have not yet setup any mail accounts.

In that case contact SBC/Yahoo for connection help.
