I have just installed win 2000 and previously was using in ME. On win ME I as able to run msconfig and disable some applications to stop them automtically loading up wth each reboot. Can anyone tell me if there is a similar feare on in 2000.

Windows 2000 does not have the MSCONFIG program that was provided with Windows 98 or ME.

You can use the Windows XP version of MSCONFIG.
