when booting windows me i get this error message, "SURegCreateKey Failed" can anybody help me with this problem?

You might try to restore the registry.
You will need a startup diskette. You can make one an any ME computer.
You'll need one diskette>go to control panel>add/remove programs>startup disk tab>insert diskette into a: drive>create disk.
Or go to http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm
>download it to your desktop>open it >copy it to a diskette.

To restore the registry shut down the computer>wait 10 seconds>insert the disk into a: drive>restart the computer.
When it loads>choose without cd-rom support>at the a:>prompt type scanreg /restore (note space after scanreg)
>enter>yes>choose a date before the problem began>ok.
Remove the startup disk from the a: drive and press ctrl/alt/delete simultaneously to return to windows.
