I am new to this forum and hope someone can solve this strange problem. I am also not a techy so 'idiot proof' comments would be much appreciated!

My A, C and D drives don't appear to recognise that a disk is loaded so data cannot be accessed or CD's auto start.
With A I get the message 'Please insert a disk into drive A'
With D and E I get the message 'The disk in Drive D (or E) is not formatted. Do you want to format it now'.

D is a normal read only drive and E is a Rewriter. Strangely though I can copy a disk from D to E using the Copy function in Nero although when I try and Compile a disk it says the disk in D is not accessible.

I am using Windows ME and don't believe I have changed anything since all 3 drives worked perfectly.
