spent yesterday playing with the machine ggggrrrrr ... tried allsorts .. moving jumpers .. setting bois differently .. putting hdd and cd rom in all different positions .. cdrom is not showing in bios and not on the posts and not in disc management .. doesn't seem to want to auto detect .. dont think its a power problem because it will still open and close .. could it just be the drivers ?? slightly baffled ... anyone any idea's .. please
