Re: windows98se graphics
WINZIP.EXE is the file you download from my site. (In post #7) When run, this file will install WINZIP.
"... ac97.zip is not a valid windows application....."
This is probably because you don't have WINZIP installed.

Yes I can help, we just need to get our facts together.
Have you obtained and run the INFINST.EXE and IAA23_ENU.EXE files?
Is winzip installed and operational?
Is the ac97.zip driver package downloaded and extracted to an empty directory? (5 files)
If so;
1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double click System.
3. Click Device Manager.
(or on the Desktop, R-click My Computer, Properties, Device Manager)
4. Double click PCI Multimedia Audio Device.
5. Click Reinstall Driver.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Specify a location, then type [your path/directory containing the 5 files]. Now press ENTER.
9. Click Next.
10. Click Next.
11. Put the Windows 98 CD disc into the CD-ROM drive, then click OK.
12. When the files have been copied, click Finish.
13. Click Close.
14. Restart Windows 98 and for changes to take effect.
Post back with your results, or, any other problems related to this issue.

Did you create d:\sound\wolfson\win98 and extract the five files to there???
8. Click Specify a location, then type [your path/directory containing the 5 files]. Now press ENTER.
